A Fresh Start

So the England football team were very disappointing in this year's World Cup but I hope they can make a fresh start. They looked like old men against Germany in the 2nd Round. I hope we can get some young talent to come through and improve the team.

Talking of fresh starts, as you all know by now, there have been some changes made to the Kaplan curriculum. I hope you all can look at this as a positive change. There will be many new classes to try and I think we can now offer more attractive elective classes that will really let the talents of our teachers come to the fore.

I will be offering my Modern History class twice a week and if you are interested in content-based English language learning then this is a great opportunity. Also there will be a Global Issues class in which we will learn, analyse and discuss topics that affect us all as citizens of the world. I hope you'll be able to join me for that.

I'll still be teaching my Master Debate class (now renamed Project Work Debate) and I and many other teachers will continue teaching workshop classes as either elective classes or still as the Newsweek workshop.
